OHS Veterans Day Program to be held on November 11
In honor of our Veterans and their families, the Ortonville School is holding their 24th Annual Veterans Day Program Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The program is intended to be fully open to the public, students in James Knoll Elementary, and Ortonville High School. CSM (R) Joe Eustice will serve as emcee for the program. Border West Picks Up Four Wins During Busy Week

Strong second quarter leads Rothsay to win over Trojans
The Trojan football team traveled to Rothsay to battle the Tigers on their Homecoming game. Rothsay defeated the Trojans, 34-12. Rothsay scored first on a one yard run by sophomore running back Ryan Metzger with 6:14 remaining in the first quarter. The two point conversion was no good to give the Tigers a 6-0 lead.

Council updated on current Street and Utility improvements
The Ortonville City Council met for their first meeting of the month on Tuesday, Sept. 8 in the Library Media Center. Council members Cory Stattelman and Ashley Berger were absent from the meeting. City of Ortonville receives MPFA funding for two projects
The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (MPFA) has announced $88.6 million in loans and grants for 12 wastewater and drinking water infrastructure projects in nine cities throughout the state. Investments will replace nearly 4,000 lead service lines in three cities, among other projects.
