Council updated on current Street and Utility improvements
The Ortonville City Council met for their first meeting of the month on Tuesday, Sept. 8 in the Library Media Center. Council members Cory Stattelman and Ashley Berger were absent from the meeting. Ben Vonada of Apex Engineering was present and gave an update of the 2026 Utility and Street improvements. “Work around the hospital is going well. The underground utilities are done on Center Street and a quarter of the utilities is done on Otto Avenue,” said Vonada. “They should be starting on curb and gutter on Center Street this week and working their way west on Otto Avenue. The substantial completion date for this portion of the project should be Oct. 31 of this year.”
